Many of those programs also have departmental graduations, e.g. Berkeley.
Gina Biancarosa
01:05:34
Jered, that makes sense. Maybe that could be elaborated under that bold text?
Harinder Khalsa
01:07:17
Why do you prefer to call it a graduate micro credentialing instead of a certificate program?
Aaron Gullickson
01:09:02
Harder, mostly because we already have a certificate program, but also because this has been the term that we see being used most commonly at other uni’s
Aaron Gullickson
01:09:22
Sorry, Harinder, not harder - that was autocorrect!
Anthony Hornof (he/him)

This appears to be a discussion of this new trend of microcredentials: https://www.chronicle.com/package/next-the-credentials-craze/

Thank you, Aaron

Thank you @anthony hornof - this is very relevant and important trend for UO to anticipate and plan around. Many Business Schools have adopted micro-credentialing already.

We also have access to a new service that provides robust labor market data analysis for program development. Please contact me if you’d like more information on that.

Absolutely Jack, and the goal is that this school involve faculty and programs across campus, so the faculty member you mention is an exciting opportunity for collaboration.

The history of the Monday commencement is we were going to host a track competition (not sure which one) so commencement was moved from Saturday to Monday. For families, it would seem to be Saturday would be more convenient.
Bob Choquette
02:02:33
It could be that Athletic Dept signed contract for track meet before Juneteenth was a national holiday.
