Track Town to Tokyo
Open to all! Scheduled so Ducks in Eugene and Tokyo (as well as the rest of the U.S. and Eastern Asia) can attend simultaneously.

As rescheduled Olympic track and field events draw nearer, hear the latest from both sides of the Pacific with TrackTown USA CEO Michael Reilly and Tokyo assembly board member Takeshi Nakamura '01.

After a screening of newly-released video from Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, join organizers of the TrackTown20 US Olympic Trials in Eugene and UO Japan alumni on the ground in Tokyo for up-to-date news on event preparations. Panelists will share possibilities around how events will take place, letting fans who are unable to attend know how they can still be a part of these historic competitions.

Other topics include:

Planning challenges over the past year and innovations that have taken place to serve athlete, spectator, and other stakeholder groups

Upcoming events at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon

Information for Ducks wanting to visit Tokyo in the future

Discussion will be followed by Q & A.
